User cannot see team
Symptoms:- Team doesn’t appear in user’s team list
- User cannot access team workspaces
- Is the user a member of the team?
- Has the team been created successfully?
- Is the user’s account active?
- Add user to team (Admin Panel):
- Navigate to Teams → Select team → Add member
- Verify account status:
- Check user is active in company
- Ensure not marked for deletion
User cannot access workspace
Symptoms:- User is team member but can’t access workspace
- Workspace doesn’t appear in user’s workspace list in Chat UI
- Is the workspace associated with the user’s team?
- Is the workspace active (not deleted)?
- Does user have required role for workspace access?
- Associate workspace with team (Admin Panel):
- Navigate to Workspaces → Select workspace → Set team
- Verify workspace status:
- Ensure workspace not archived or deleted
- Check user role:
- Verify user has appropriate permissions
Cannot delete team
Symptoms:- Delete button grayed out or missing
- Error when attempting to delete
- Is this a Company or Private team? (Cannot be deleted)
- Do you have admin permissions?
- Is team still associated with workspaces?
- Only Custom teams can be deleted:
- Company teams: Automatic, cannot delete
- Private teams: One per user, cannot delete
- Remove workspace associations first:
- Reassign workspaces to other teams
- Then delete team
- Verify admin permissions:
- Ensure you have Admin, Sys Admin, Account Manager, or Company Admin role
