Paradigm supports a variety of file formats for both search and analysis functionalities. Below, we clarify what each of these capabilities means and how they apply to different formats.

Understanding Search vs. Analysis

Search: format can indexed and retrieved based on keywords, metadata, and structured content within supported files. This allows users to quickly find relevant documents without necessarily scoping the document.

Analysis: Analysis means the platform can understand, extract, and process the full content of a document, including text interpretation, summarization, and contextual insights. The document must be scoped in the query.
Some formats support both search and analysis, while others may only allow search-based retrieval.
