To enhance security and stability, we have standardized on predefined user groups. This article provides a quick guide on using the new migration script to move users from custom groups to the predefined groups.

Historically, Paradigm allowed our clients to create custom user groups to define their roles. However, due to security and stability concerns, we no longer support this feature. Instead, we now require clients to use the predefined groups provided by LightOn.
To assist with this transition, we have developed a migration script that can be executed from the console to migrate users from one group to another. This script simplifies the process of reassigning users to the new, predefined groups.
To use the migration script, follow these steps:
- Access the Console: Open the LightOn console and navigate to the migration script section.
- Run the Script: Execute the script by following the instructions provided in the console. The script will guide you through the process of selecting the users and the target groups.
- Review the Results: After the migration is complete, review the results to ensure that all users have been correctly reassigned.
